Breast Cancer 24-Hour Blog Marathon @ Punny Money Starts Tonight
Nick, author of Punny Money, will be conducting a 24-hour straight "Blogathon" in which he will post at least once an hour - possibly more! - continuously from 6PM EDT tonight through the same time Friday.
No, he's not crazy. His mother passed away from Breast Cancer two years ago, and in honor of her memory and Mother's Day this weekend, he will donate all ad revenue, donations, referrals to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
I think this is a great way to support the cause, one which is close to my heart as well - my mother is a breast cancer survivor. I can't think of anyone whose life has not been affected by breast cancer - whether through a family member, friend, or a personal experience with the disease. This is a disease touches us all, and with a little more time, money and research, we could be that much closer to a cure.
Good luck, Nick!
Note: Also, check out the Major League Baseball games this weekend - some of the players have ordered special PINK Louisville Slugger bats that they will play with in honor of their mothers and the breast cancer cause, and then sign and donate post-game!

Thanks for blogging about this, I for one wouldn't have seen it other wise. Seems like a great cause.
